RAJESHWARI - Grad Student

With M.Tech from MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, Rajeshwari worked at NCBS, Bangalore for a year on her dissertation project. She works on understanding adhesion dependent differential regulation of Golgi compartments. Besides research,  she enjoys reading and trekking.

PRACHI - Grad Student

With a Masters from Modern College (Pune University), Prachi worked at PierianDx India, where her interest in cancer biology research took roots. She explores the role and regulation of anchorage-independent Golgi organization in cancers. Besides research, Prachi follows her interests in Indian classical music and Kathak.

MAYURESH - Grad Student

With a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Mumbai University, this Mumbaikar did his Masters dissertation from ACTREC. Mayuresh works on understanding the role and regulation of AURKA in the lab. Besides his research interest, Mayuresh enjoys chess, badminton and table tennis.

DEBASMITA - PhD Student

With M.Sc from Burdwan University, West Bengal, worked at TIFR,Mumbai as a project fellow for one year. Works on understanding how golgi organisation and endocytosis are connected and regulated by changing matrix organisation. Loves to read books, listen to music, watch movies and the sound of rain-drop from green leaves.

ARNAV - PhD Student (PMRF Fellow)

I completed my masters in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from Tezpur University. My research interests lies in understanding the role of mechanical cues in mediating and regulating organelle functions. Apart from my research interests, my passion lies in science communication and reading about the history of science. I am a foodie and, I also enjoy watching sports like cricket and football.

RADHIKA - iPhD Student

Radhika completed her B.Sc. in Chemistry with a minor in Vocational Biotechnology from Fergusson college, Pune. She has joined the lab as an integrated PhD student and works on understanding the role of heterogeneity in Golgi organisation in Cancers. She is also a Bharatanatyam dancer and enjoys dabbling in fine arts.

ANTARA - PhD Student

I completed my Masters in Molecular biology and biotechnology from Tezpur University. I am passionate about science outreach and communication. My interest in the lab is on understanding the role of motor proteins and their regulation of Golgi organisation. Apart from the fore mentioned interests, painting, gardening and cooking bring me joy.

KAJAL - PhD Student (c JK lab - IISER Chem)

I have completed my M.Tech in Nanotechnology from GJU, Hisar. I did my B.Tech in Biotechnology from Amity University, Lucknow. My interest lies in interdisciplinary area of science and I am working on developing drug delivery systems.  Apart from this I love to play Basketball and  Badminton and enjoy writing poetry in my spare time.

TUSHAR - MS Thesis Student

I am BS-MS student at IISER Pune. My research interest lies in mechano biology cum physical biology. In lab, my interest and hence research project tries to understand the role of mechanical cues in mediating structure-function relationship of endomembranes/ cell organelles. Beside this, I enjoy graphic designing, drawing and cricket.

Prashanth - UG Student

I am currently enrolled as a BS-MS student at IISER Pune, where my research interests are focused on the fields of Cell Biology. I work primarily on Golgi organisation and the role of motor proteins. Outside of my academic pursuits, I enjoy engaging in videography, video-editing, traveling, and playing cricket.

I am currently studying the genes which could be involved in regulating the  morphology and function of the Golgi apparatus. My research interests lie in cancer biology, genetics and immunology. Apart from research, I enjoy playing badminton, trekking, painting and sketching.

Piyush - UG Student

I am a BS-MS student at IISER Pune. My research interest lies in molecular biology, genetic engineering and biotechnology.  In cell adhesion lab, I am currently focused on helping reveal heterogeneity in Golgi organisation in cancer cells. Apart from my research, I like to play and watch cricket and love to listen music.

RUTUPARNA - Project student

I did master's in microbiology from Pune University. My research interests lie in cancer biology and cell biology. I am currently studying the organization of collagen around the cell in 2D vs 3D environment. Apart from research, I enjoy Indian classical music that I am learning and trekking.
